Noisy dog tags
I don’t know about you, but I can’t stand the constant jingling of tags hanging from my dog’s collar. Our pet dog, Aubie, wears 2 tags at all times. The puppies we volunteer puppy raise for Canine Companions for Independence, require 3 tags at all times. All of those tags clang together whenever the dog walks and is more terrible if that dog happens to do a full-body shake. It wakes us up in the middle of the night. A napping child is rudely awakened. It disrupts a favorite tv show at the most inopportune time. No Bueno. I needed a solution for those annoying dog tags.
Pick Pocket Pouch
I searched the internet far and wide and finally found the solution for storing dog tags. The Pick Pocket Pouch. It’s perfect! The pouch is 3” long and 1.625” wide with zipper closure. The back has 2 elastic bands that fit perfectly onto a dog’s collar. Dog tags fit easily inside and can be attached by a small loop, so they won’t fall out if the zipper happens to come open. I’ve seen other people use dog tag silencers, but those still require the tags to hang from the collar. The Pick Pocket Pouch keeps the tags tucked inside, nice and tight.
I will say, unfortunately, it may not be the perfect answer for small dog breeds. It would overtake a small dog, like my parent’s Maltipoo, but it works perfectly on our Beagle and larger dogs. It needs a collar of about ¾-1” in width.
The Pick Pocket Pouch is only available through IHeartDogs.com. I highly recommend you check them out and give the pouch a try. You won’t be disappointed.
