Canine Companions for Independence Depends on Business Sponsors

colorcci_lores Canine Companions for Independence Depends on Business Sponsors

Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit organization that provides their highly trained service dogs free-of-charge. They depend on business sponsors, grants, fundraisers and donations. They are also able to accomplish this goal from the help of over 3,000 volunteers.

This week I had the opportunity to represent the Southeast Region of Canine Companions at a local insurance agency. They have chosen CCI as their charity of choice to support during the month of May. Myself, along with fellow Space Coast/Treasure Coast puppy raisers, shared Canine Companion’s mission and what we do as puppy raisers. It was a wonderful experience to share with a local business and about why we do what we do. The employees had a lot of questions, and we were happy to answer.

Do you know of a business that may be interested in becoming a sponsor? It’s incredibly easy to be a business sponsor by becoming what CCI calls, a Community Supporter. When your business, organization or club becomes an official Community Supporter, you will be supporting the most highly acclaimed and accredited assistance dog organization in the United States. If your business is accepted as a Community Supporter, it will receive a toolkit featuring marketing and PR materials plus a step-by-step guide for your fundraiser.

Canine Companions for Independence would not be what they are today without business sponsors, service clubs and civic groups. If you, or your business, would like to join us and support Canine Companions, please visit cci.org. Your meaningful gift is greatly appreciated.
